What Are the Features of High Pressure Dry Powder Briquette Machine?

Dry powder briquette machine is mainly used for briquetting hard-to-mold powder materials, its features are strong molding pressure, adjustable main engine revolution, equipped with a screw conveying device.

The main engine is powered by electromagnetic adjustable-speed motor, then through the pulley, cylindrical gear reducer and rod pin coupling driving the driving shaft. The driving shaft and driven shaft keep synchronous operation by the open gear. The rear of the driven bearing seat is equipped with hydraulic equipment.

The spiral feeding device is driven by electromagnetic adjustable-speed motor, through the pulley, worm reducer rotating to press materials into the main inlet. Because of the constant torque characteristic of the electromagnetic adjustable-speed motor, when the pressing material rate of the spiral feeder machine equals to the material volume needed by the main engine, it can maintain a constant feeding pressure to make the ball quality stable. If the feed rate is too big, the feeding device will happen electrical overload; Otherwise, the finished products can not be pressed into ball shape. So practised operation skill is a vital condition to guarantee a normal work for the briquette machine.

The hydraulic pressure protection device works as following. The hydraulic pump presses high pressure oil into the hydraulic cylinder, which makes the piston produces axial displacement. When excessive materials or metal block passing through the gap between the two rollers, the hydraulic cylinder piston rod will be overloaded, then the hydraulic pump halt, energy accumulator play a buffer effect against the pressure change, and the overflow valve will open to return oil. In the end, the piston rod displacement makes the gap between the rollers wider so that the hard objects can pass by, and the system pressure returns to normal, protecting the rollers from damages. The ball press force can be adjusted according to specific requirements on finished ball density, achieving flexible production.
