Raw Material Requirements of Desulfurization Gypsum Ball Press Machine

The industry strengthens the control on power plants' sulfur dioxide emission. Desulfurization gypsum ball press machine is specially designed according to the characteristics of desulfurization gypsum. Through the treatment of wet gypsum desulphurization process, it can compress the waste gypsum into balls with strong pressure. Desulfurization gypsum ball press machine successfully expands a new use of desulphurization gypsum in cement preparation.

Compared with using natural gypsum, cement plants using the desulphurization gypsum not only can reduce the production cost, but also improves the production quality and efficiency of cement in essence.

1. Material granularity. Thirty to forty percent of desulphurization gypsum ball press machines require the material particle size smaller than 1 mm and fineness between 1 mm to 2 mm. Only about 10% require the fineness within 3 mm.

2. Material moisture content. Moisture content has a direct influence on the balling quality of desulphurization gypsum ball press machine. If material moisture content is too high, it will result in slimeball and demoulding difficulty. If the moisture content is too low, it will make product's adhesiveness not enough for balling. It is the most appropriate for moisture content to be within 8% to 10%. When ball press machine is working, we can deploy a set of drying machine to control the water content and ensure an even material humidity.

3. Material purity. When desulphurization gypsum ball press machine is working, the materials must maintain a certain purity, without hard objects, in case of causing damages to roller skin and bearings. So when arranging materials, we must carry out de-ironing and purification work in advance.

4. The ratio of materials and additives. We can use a screw feeder to ensure a continuous supply of materials. Besides, we should pay attention to the using method and ratio of materials and additives. We should reasonably allocate materials and additives in terms of the specific compositions and using conditions.
